June 30, 2009 - Elliot's 2nd Birthday
We first celebrated Elliot's birthday in Ohio. On June 28, we had a little birthday party at Nana's house. Mostly just family, but our friends Ken and Jen came down for it, too! SO GLAD to see them after a whole YEAR of missing them!!!

Trip to Ohio 6/27 - 7/1
The trip started with us missing YET ANOTHER airplane due to weather, thereby missing our connection in Baltimore. We hopped in the car at 7PM (instead of, say, 1 PM), and drove until midnight. We picked up our travels again at 7:45 AM and arrived in Marietta at 1:15 PM. What a trip! We got dressed and headed off to Grandma's 90th birthday party, which much family had come in from far, far away to attend! We had a great time!
My family - Molly (sleeping), Constance, Jamey holding Jed, Mom, Grandma A, Dad, Elle, Me, and Davey J!
My Mom, Her Mom, Me (A Mom), and Elle
My kid, My Dad's Kid, My Dad's Mom, and My Dad

Medicine and Pretzels
First let me say, I have TONS of blogging to do...but for now...
Last night, after dinner, Elliot came up to me and said very seriously, "Mommy, I want some medicine." I thought perhaps because she had scraped her knee (yet again), that she wanted some Neosporin on it. I said, "Medicine?" She replied, "Yes! Medicine! Mommy! I want some medicine!" I laughed and said, "What do you need the medicine for?" She gave me the angriest, sternest face and said, "Mommy - MEDICINE and PRETZELS." Hahaha! We dip pretzels in hummus, and for some reason, the word 'hummus' has stuck in her head as 'medicine.'
Vallium and pretzels, anyone?
